How to get there?

To get in Greece, the rest obviously the fastest, safest solution aircraft... and the least tiring. Most major European cities are frequently linked to the Greek capital in 2 to 4 hours. Since the beginning of the 2000s, it is the Eleftherios Venizelos airport which concentrates the bulk of air traffic.

If you choose to travel by road, you certainly need to cross the Italy up to Ancona, Bari or Brindisi to Igoumenitsa or Patras, the main ports of Western Greece.

Unless you prefer to pass through the Balkans, Croatia and the Serbia-Macedonia... If you have the time and courage: the journey is not easy!

With respect to the rail option, it is available for adventurers: in addition to the two to three days to arrive, Greek trains often accuse well-known delays and serve only a tiny part of the territory!
