Presentation of the province of Yunnan, China

Yunnan province, located in the South West of China, appears to many to be the most beautiful province of China, and rightly so. Enjoying a mild climate year-round, a trip to Yunnan is usually one of the most beautiful discoveries for any circuit in China, through a rural province minority very diverse, many beautiful landscapes, and different architects from one village to the other.

Here are some of the main tourist sites of interest of this province:

-Kunming, a large Chinese provincial and dynamic city, the site of the stone forest

-Dali and Xizhou: between the Cangshan mountains and great Lake Erhai, traditional fishing with cormorants, Xizhou, Bai minority village life

-Shaxi, ancient old preserved city and former commercial centre on the road to tea and horses, in the heart of the great Valley rustic

-Lijiang, one of the most beautiful ancient cities of China despite its tourism boom, heritage world of UNESCO, in a region populated by Naxi minority

-Shangri La: Tibetan region with discovery of a large monastery with many Tibetan monks, and meeting with the Tibetans at home in the countryside

-Yuanyang: sublime terraced rice fields, spanning dozens of consecutive floors, surely the most beautiful in China, see all of Asia! You can also attend minorities very interesting and colourful markets, where minorities still wear their traditional costume.

Note that cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Xi' year are steps interesting in order to complete the discovery of a rural China in Yunnan.
