The beautiful island - Saint Michel chapel on the Lake of Serre Ponçon

Making the turn

the Lake of Serre Ponçon

in the Hautes Alpes,.

I actually flashed

on a Chapel erected

on a small island,.

lost in the middle of the waters

the artificial lake

The Saint Michel Chapel stands on his small island,

in the middle of the turquoise waters of the Lake of Serre Ponçon

It is the Chapel of Saint Michel,

is now inescapable

among my best memories of holidays

This Chapel

is simple,

but its presence is so incongruous

in the landscape surroundings,.

that she became charming

It's a chapel from the 12th century,

which was built then

on a dominant point Valley

(Yes, of course,

now that everything is engulfed

beneath the waters of the artificial lake

of Serre Ponçon

It is less obvious to see!...)

In fact

the Chapel was to be swallowed up,

but it has proved

be located slightly

at the top of the water

The Saint Michel Chapel is now walled,

but some offices

are still celebrated
